Senate passes energy act.(AF&PA IS PLEASED)

Last week the U.S. Senate passed S. 3711, the "Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006," energy legislation that provides access to natural gas and oil supplies in the eastern Gulf of Mexico. "This is a long-awaited victory for the forest products industry, which uses natural gas to power facilities," says W.
