You might wonder why Searcher would publish an article on scrapbooking resources. In case you haven't heard, scrapbooking--yes, sticking personal pictures in bound books and annotating them with a bit of text--has seized the public's imagination on a scale larger than low-carb diets. People are reveling in nostalgia. The aftermath of 9/11 seems to have a lot to do with it. So does the aging of baby boomers. Feeling a lot of uncertainty about the world these days, people are looking inward and backward for security and meaning.
Today's scrapbooking bears little resemblance to that of the past. No more gray pages and little black photo corners. Now it's all about color, layout, 3-D embellishments, acid-free paper for longevity, and something called...
