AirMagnet, Inc. (www.airmagnet.com) has introduced a new line of ruggedized sensors designed for outdoor and industrial use, enabling enterprises to extend a wireless security "perimeter" beyond building walls. Waterproof, hardened SmartEdge sensors scan for suspicious wireless activity both indoors and out, and communicate with an AirMagnet Enterprise server for central correlation, compliance reporting, alerting, and notification.
