Steel of West Virginia (SWV, www.swvainc.com), a subsidiary of Roanoke Electric Steel, owns and operates a minimill in Huntington, West Virginia, and steel-fabrication facilities in Tennessee and West Virginia. The company makes finished steel products, including structural beams, channels, and special-shape sections, which are used in trucks, trailers, heavy machinery, and manufactured housing, as well as in guardrail posts, mining applications, and light-rail systems.
