Software companies expect more CD, but still growth in floppy. (floppy disk)(Webcom Publishing survey)

Supporting other industry projections, results of a recent survey of software companies found that they are expecting to at least double their sales of CD units in the coming year. At the same time, they project an increase in demand for 3.5-inch floppy units. These results and others were presented by David Webster of Webcom Publishing, publisher of Software Manufacturing News and Software Publisher, which conducted the survey this past spring, at a computer diskette track session at REPLItech International -- Santa Clara in June.
