New multimedia standard for PCs includes improved sound and video. (Multimedia PC Level 3 Specifications)

The Multimedia PC Working Group, an independent special-interest group of the Software Publishers Association, has released the Multimedia PC Level 3 Specifications, a new standard for multimedia PCs that will provide end-users with full screen, full motion video and enhanced CD-quality sound while playing demanding multimedia programs.
