RIAA makes statement with Nimbus CD settlement.(Recording Industry Association of America)

Music recording trade organization the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has made it well known that it is willing to work with duplicators and replicators to avoid the manufacturing of unauthorized content. It has also made it apparent that it will bring legal action against any duplicator/replicator that does not heed its warning. The latest company to feel the RIAA's wrath is Charlottesville, VA-based Nimbus CD, a Technicolor company.

The RIAA and Nimbus CD jointly announced a settlement over claims of copyright infringement at Nimbus CD's mastering and replication facilities.
