CES offers media manufacturers view of the future.

The attendee list was a virtual "who's who" of media manufacturing industry executives, including the likes of Rick Marquardt, Jr., of WAMO, Harvey Mabry and Tom Rooney of Panasonic Disc Services Corp., Robert Doyon of Americ Disc, Scott Bartlett and Mike Mitchell of Sony Disc Manufacturing, and Bob Freedman of Crest National. With such a list of media manufacturing dignitaries, you might have thought this was a REPLItech show, an International Recording Media Association seminar or one of the many industry DVD conferences. But in fact, it was the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, NV, early last month.
