Verity Systems, El Dorado, CA, announces the CD-R duplicator with up to 16 8X writers from Plextor or Teac. The VS8816 is a stand-alone unit that features an internal 5GB hard disk for CD data storage and an automatic format analysis function to ensure the master disk is analyzed and copied in the correct format: 'Red book' or 'blue book' or multiple audio track indexes with UPC/MCN or ISRC codes are automatically detected and copied. The VS8816 can produce nearly 100 copies of a full 650MB CD in one hour.

Verity Systems also introduces the MEP120BC Automatic CD Business Card Sleever that can throughput up to 3,000 business card CDs per hour. This sleeve handles all business card CD formats and can be set up to handle short runs.
