Seda Solubles, Spain and Cia Iguacu, Brazil recently joined forces to create U.K.-based Alliance Coffee Company, combining over 70 years of soluble experience. Seda Solubles was established in 1957 and Cia Iguacu in 1967. Both companies have experience of supplying the British private label market either directly or indirectly by supplying private label packers. But the joint venture signals a concerted effort by ACC to gain market share in the private label market in Britain through the direct supply of innovative and flexible finished coffee products.

With 30,000 tons annual capacity, the joint venture represents a new giant in the manufacture and packaging of instant coffee for the British private label market.
