Costa Rica celebrates its third electronic coffee auction.(Trade News)

Due to the success of the Internet auctions of the past two years, the Costa Rican coffee sector celebrated its third electronic auction recently. The 2004 "Golden Harvest" Auction anticipates an even larger participation of international buyers (bidders) of high quality, specialty coffee.

The Specialty Coffee Association of Costa Rica (SCACR) and its Golden Harvest Auction Committee are convinced that the electronic auction has been, is, and will continue to be an excellent motivational tool in the sustained improvement of the overall production and milling in Costa Rica.
