Donald Wiederecht was the former executive director of" the Tea Council of the USA.
Wiederecht born 1927 in New York was the husband of the late Anita Catherine and Dorothy B. Kalisiak, and father of Donald, Paul, Lucy and Alan Lawrence (Larry). He died with his wife of nine months, Dorothy at his side in Blackwood, NJ.
He attended Fordham University and graduated with a Journalism Degree before signing with the N.Y. Yankees as a left-handed pitching prospect, he later pitched in the Boston Braves organization.
A veteran of the Korean War, he served his country overseas. Wiederecht was hired by the NY Yankees and worked in the public relations/media info. office from 1955-1958. Later, his career in public relations led to positions at AMF...
