Spencer Turer has joined Amerada Hess Corporation as category manager, coffee where he is responsible for the management of Mountain Top Coffee at Hess Express retail gas locations. Turer's experience in the specialty coffee industry includes managing coffee supply relationships, cupping and grading, product development, and retail operations.
Turer is a founding member of the Roasters Guild within the SCA& and has served on international cupping juries at Cup of Excellence, Costa Rica coffee competition at Sintercafe, and Q-Auction competitions. Previously, Turer was global coffee supply manager for Dunkiff Donuts, and held the position of manager, coffee development at Melitta USA.
