Bruno Angst, a well-known member of the Brazilian and International coffee trade passed away in Santos, Brazil after a short illness.
Angst was born in Frauenfeld, Switzerland and received his formal education in local schools and Commercial College. After graduating in 1950, he joined Gebreuder Volkart at its international headquarters in Winterthur as a trainee in their export department. In 1953 he was transferred to the Coffee department of Volkart Brothers Ltd. in London, U.K., and later to the Volkart Brothers Inc. branch in New York in 1954. In 1955, Angst was moved to Brazil as assistant manager of the Santos Coffee department of Volkart Irmaos Ltda.
