From roasting to packaging equipment, espresso to espresso grinding and brewing machines, espresso cups, coffee art and design--Italy is all things Espresso; and espresso obviously can be almost all things Italian.

THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF COMPANIES in the boot and its soccer ball, dedicated in some way to some piece, part or portion that makes for what has become a worldwide phenomenon--espresso coffee. Three profiles out of three thousand? That hardly seems fair. But if we did them all we'd need volumes, and as well, so thriving and inventive is Italy in coffee, that once finished we'd be turning back to start again with more of the new.
