Coffee and tea 'Drinks On Demand' (DOD), entailing a single-drink delivery format, is becoming the exchange of choice in global coffee and tea coinage. This includes a gathering storm of added value possibilities, from experimentation with more venerable canned coffee/tea drinks, soluble and freeze dried products in mini-packs and sachets, to quite new liquid, flavored coffees and teas in mini-barrier soft packs (with straw included).

Most particularly, the awesome boom in coffee and tea DOD single-service production volume is based on the popularity of pods, and increasingly too of caps and pads.
