Don Gould, president of Ponte Vedra, Fla.-based Travel Authority and the Consortium Marketing Alliance (CMA), has taken control of the Summit Travel Group, a 100-member independent agency consortium. The daily operations of Summit Travel Group, which is now a part of the newly-established Gould Travel Marketing, are overseen by industry-veteran Doug Harrison.

Separately, Travel Authority, which has 700 agency members, has ended its relationship with Amadeus in favor of a new agreement with Galileo.
