If you count the freeways as a reality-based thrill ride, you might say all of Southern California is just one big theme park. Entertainment rules in this fantasyland of mansions and mountain landscapes, and the movie machine fills just one wing of the kingdom. Most of the major theme parks in the world originate in Southern California, so a visit to this area will allow clients to create a theme park-focused vacation.

Moving north to south along the Southern California coast means starting with Six Flags Magic Mountain, just north of Los Angeles. Considered California's "X-treme" park, it has three new roller coasters: Deja Vu, part of the next generation of suspended, looping boomerang coasters; X-Xperience the Xtreme, and Goliath Jr.
