Amtrak has quietly introduced a feature on its high-speed Acela trains called "Live on Acela Express." The program consists of surprise and recurring events that will include book signings, wine tastings and celebrity appearances onboard Acela, with the goal of enhancing the travel experience for business-class passengers.

"We want to relay the feeling that when you are on the Acela, all kinds of things can happen," says an Amtrak spokeswoman. Special features to be unveiled this year include professional masseuses giving massages on tax day (April 15), a wine tasting onboard the Sonoma train in late April and book signings by suspense author David Baldacci.
