A growing trend in the travel industry is the marked increase in family travel, which research suggests has surged in recent months. According to a survey by Yesawich, Pepperdine, & Brown on the travel intentions of U.S. adults, 45 percent of adults said they are more likely to take a trip with their children than they were prior to Sept. 11. Many tour operators and hoteliers worldwide are offering packages that make a family trip this summer more appealing than a routine road trip. Whether your clients fancy the beaches of the Caribbean or the exotic eye candy of Africa, there likely is a package that will appeal to a client seeking a family vacation.
