Michael Bayley, a 21-year cruise and hospitality veteran, has been named managing director of Island Cruises, a joint venture of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and the British tour operator First Choice Holidays. Bayley served for the past three years as vice president-total guest satisfaction-fleet operations for Royal Caribbean International.

Ken Krauter, former CEO for the Jacksonville Port Authority, is the new director of Port Everglades, Fla. He is scheduled to start his new job Aug. 19, replacing Phillip Allen, the interim director appointed after the the departure of Paul DeMariano last year.
