This year a few car rental companies decided to bow out of the World Congress, but some that missed the Congress last year are back. Payless and Advantage Rent-A-Car will not be in Hawaii, citing budgetary reasons, but both made a point of saying that agents are very important to the company. Following is a roundup of the car rental companies, their representatives and a preview of their offerings at this year's Congress.

Alamo and National: After missing last year's Congress in New York, ANC Rental Corp. (parent of Alamo and National) will be in Hawaii.
