Pamela Richards, commissioner of tourism for the USVI, understandably has a lot on her plate, being responsible for the never-ending task of finding new ways to bring visitors to the three-island group. This summer she was named one of TRAVEL AGENT's Most Powerful Women in Travel, recognizing her tireless efforts to boost tourism to the destination. One of Richards' initiatives has been to promote the USVI as a premier destination through marketing and public relations efforts in coordination with its 14 satellite offices.
