Virgin Atlantic introduced a temporary change policy for passengers through March 17. The new policy permits passengers booking by then to cancel up to 72 hours prior to boarding without incurring a change fee. Passengers should retain their tickets to be used as credit toward their next journey, which must be completed by Dec.

31. Any difference in fare price on the rebooked itinerary with either be charged or refunded as applicable, and all rebookings must be for the original passenger. The new policy applies to services between the U.S. and the U.K., and for travel between the U.K. and Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.
