In Cozumel, couples can marry on the beach, in a lovely tropical garden, on a boat, or inside any of their hotels warmly decorated interiors. Romantic Cozumel is the perfect stage for couples exchanging marriage vows. All they need is a valid passport or the original copy (with a raised zeal) of their birth certificates translated into Spanish and certified, a tourist card or visa, a doctors certificate, which must be issued within 15 days prior to the wedding, four witness and $300 to pay the judge's fee. Papers and payment must be submitted to the civil registry office at least three days before the ceremony.
