Seattle's waterfront is awash in activity and attractions, but hotels have been something of an afterthought--that is, until the Seattle Marriott Waterfront (800-455-8254, www.marriott.com) opened in April.
The 358-room Seattle Marriott Waterfront is the city's second waterfront hotel. The property features an elegant seafood restaurant, The Fish Club, and a seascape-inspired rooftop created by a local artist.
The new hotel also boasts views of Elliott Bay and Puget Sound in every room, 11,000 square feet of meeting space, a full-service business center, a lobby bar and a separate coffee bar, a gift shop and valet parking. The hotel is within walking distance of most downtown Seattle attractions.
