Most audiologists recognize the importance of integrating audiologic rehabilitation (AR) into their practice, but factors such as accessibility, time, and lack of reimbursement make provision difficult. The Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Hearing Enhancement (RERC-HE) at Gallaudet University's Department of Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences (DHSLS) has developed a peer-mentoring training program to respond to these issues.
