Constant current generator gives more consistent pinning power.(film & sheet conversion)

EITHER constant current or constant voltage operation is possible with Ion Industrial's single polarity charge generators, suitable for a number of charge pinning applications including chill roll edge pinning on cast film lines, in-mould labelling, lamination, shrink wrapping and plastic bag manufacture.
The company says that while constant voltage operation has been a standard mode, constant current provides more consistent pinning power irrespective of changes in ambient conditions, contamination of ionising electrodes or variations in material properties.
