NEWARK, N.J. -- American Standard has filed a lawsuit against Kohler Co. to try to prevent Kohler from promoting and selling its new Meadowland single-bowl kitchen sink. In the suit, filed May 23 in the New Jersey Federal District Court here, American Standard charges that Kohler's Meadowland sink copies the patented design of American Standard's Silhouette sinks. The court will hear American Standard's request for injunctive relief against Kohler on July 14.
