* Some $45.6 million in new grants has been awarded to mentor children of prisoners. About 2 million children have at least one incarcerated parent, HHS said. More than 160 grantees will receive funding, including such groups as Volunteers of America in Louisiana and Big Brothers/ Big Sisters in Michigan.
