The 2005 International Boston Seafood Show drew record attendance and marked its first year at the new Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, along with a new venue, the 1st annual Seafood Processing America. If attendance figures are any indication, the show went swimmingly with more than 16,300 attendees versus last year's 14,300.

But above and beyond pure attendance statistics, the show also featured scores of new product announcements from a multitude of leading companies that encompass just about every possible species of seafood--from shrimp and calamari to crab, lobster and squid, and both cod and caviar.
