LAS VEGAS--Amid a series of new high-tech products at Winter CES that included a 20-inch multimedia TV/monitor, a 61-inch projection system and a digital TV chassis, Toshiba America Consumer Products Inc. had a couple of less flashy but no less interesting items to talk about.
One was a line of personal electronics products, dubbed Looney Tunes Tronics, the result of a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. The other was a family of high-end mobile electronics products, dubbed Mobilphile, that will receive its official coming out at the Mobile Electronics Show in April.
Both represent firsts from Toshiba, as did practically everything else at a company press reception held offsite during CES.
