RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ.--Samsung's Information Systems Division reported the company will start shipping its new SyncMaster 15GLi and 17GLi monitors by late April.
Samsung is touting the monitor's plug and play capability that allows the monitor to automatically achieve its optimum resolutions and that it is both Macintosh and IBM-compatible. Pricing for the 17GLi is $849, and the price for the 15GLi is $560.
"Plug and play simplifies the installation process, utilizing the hardware's maximum capabilities," said John R. Grundy, Samsung's Monitor Product Marketing Manager.
The 15GLi and 17GLi displays have a .28mm dot pitch. The 17GLi has a special anti-reflective, ultra-clear coating.
