Mitsubishi Consumer Electronics America Inc has announced plans to construct a new engineering center that will employ 100 American engineers in Orange County, CA. The engineers at the $11 million center will design VCRs and audio/video products. The company has added several new products for 1996, including 3 40-inch direct-view TV sets, each at a different price level. There are 6 new VCR models for 1996, including a set-top model.
