Sears expands infomercial lineup. (Sears, Roebuck and Co. advertising its Kenmore HEPA Air Supreme Air Filter)

Sears, Roebuck and Co is using an infomercial approach to advertise its Kenmore HEPA Air Supreme Air Filter system. The unit features a three-speed control for the high efficiency particulate air filtering system, which also ionizes the air, capable of trapping particulates as small as 0.03 microns in size with 99.97% efficiency. The system is being sold for $199. Sales have increased because of the infomercial which will continue to be used if sales meet their target.
