CHATSWORTH, Cal.--Cellular accessories supplier ORA Electronics has introduced VibraRing, a rechargeable battery for Motorola Micro TAC portable cellphones that alerts users to a phone call through a vibbration rather than a ring.
With VibraRing, cellphones users can receive their calls silently just like a pager. "Cellular phone users are often in situations or places where it's just not appropriate to have their phone ringing. But they can't afford to miss a call. That's why we developed VibraRing.
"Now, no matter where they are--in a meeting, restaurant, church, courtroom, concert--they can silently receive their calls, without the annoying ring," said Gershon Cooper, president of ORA.
