American Power Conversion is the only uninterruptible power supply provider that has had its software and hardware certified by Microsoft Corp. Its software will be bundled with Microsoft's new product, Windows 95, when it is introduced on Aug 24, 1995. Windows enables more data to be accessed simultaneously which means more data is vulnerable during a power failure or power surge. American Power Conversion products have a battery that turns on when the power turns off so that work can be saved.
