FORT WORTH, Texas - Tandy Corp.'s Radio Shack chain is in the process of giving its stores a brand new look and overhauling its product packaging.
An in-company survey of Radio Shack customers found that while consumers are satisfied with the chain's products and service they would like to see the stores receive a facelift. With the help of the image consulting firm Landor Associates, Radio Shack locations will sport some major changes.
The selling floor will have a more open appearance with better lines of sight and be easier to navigate. The amount of in-store signage will be reduced and access to product information made easier.
