Sears divides Home Group. (Sears, Roebuck & Co; Sears Home Group)

Sears Roebuck & Co will separate Sears Home Group into one unit focused on stores located in malls and another unit focused on stores located in other areas to expand both operations. Sears Home Business will created to manage non-mall stores and will be run by Marvin M. Stern. This unit will include such businesses as Sears dealer stores and Homelife furniture stores. William L. Salter will head another division.
