An investor group headed by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners has agreed to acquire Masco Corp's home furnishings business for $1.1 billion. The home group consists of six fabric companies and nine furniture and accessories companies, some of which are very profitable and others of which will need some attention, according to one industry watcher. The deal is expected to close in 60 days; no changes in the division's current management are expected.
