HICKORY,N.C.--Century Furniture Industries has reached an agreement with Hickory White of High Point to acquire its Chaircraft division, according to Harley F. Shuford Jr., Century's chairman. Chaircraft, which employs 130 people and is involved in the contract furniture market, supplies medium to promotionally priced seating to the hospitality contract trade.
