LAS VEGAS - Epson America demonstrated it s newest product at CES, a PhotoPC color digital camera in conjunction with Prodigy Services. The Photo PC color digital camera can transmit photograph
In minutes photos can be taken, downloaded to a computer and sent via Prodigy or other online services or Internet-access providers. Priced for the consumer retail market at $500, the PhotoPC provides resolution of 640 by 480 pixels in more than 16 million colors. Users can expand the image storage capacity for up to 160 standard images using an optional memory module.
Epson is targeting PhotoPC at business and home users who desire a quicker and easier way to bring pictures into their PC. The point-and-shoot camera weighs less than 1 pound, and measures 6.6 by 3.5...
