Sony price cuts target gamers.(video game users)

Sony Computer Entertainment has reduced the price of its video game consoles and titles as the introduction of the Nintendo 64 approaches. The PlayStation game console was reduced to $199 and the games were reduced to $39.99. The company hopes to increase its market share. Games that have had their prices reduced include Destruction Derby, NHL Face Off, NFL GameDay and Ridge Racer.
FOSTER CITY, Cal--With the expected launch of the Nintendo 64 approaching, Sony Computer Entertainment and Sega of America are attempting to increase market share via price cuts and consumer promotions.
