Sears taps into safety: picks CareMate for bath products.(Sears, Roebuck, and Co., bath safety products)

Sears, Roebuck, and Co. will introduce a line of bath safety products through a partnership with CareMate. The line will include shower benches, shower curtains, elevated toilet seats, handheld showers, wall grab bars, and bathtub safety rails. The agreement establishes CareMate products firmly in the retail market and gives Sears entry into the burgeoning home health care niche.
SIMI VALLEY, Cal.--Sears is venturing into the burgeoning home health care field with a new line of products devoted to bath safety. The giant retailer has chosen CareMate as its vendor for the line.
