Paging service reseller Positive Commun-ications has reached an agreement with Motorola to distribute its RSVP pager directly to consumers. Pleasanton, Cal.-based Positive has set up a toll-free number that lets consumers buy the cellphone/pager battery by phone. RSVP pager batteries are designed to fit onto any Motorola flip phone, replacing its traditional battery.

It lets users receive pages even when the phone is turned off.
