INTERNET DEVICE IN COMPUTER STORES

REDWOOD CITY, Cal. -- Sega of America is broadening the scope of its retail outlets with its Sega Saturn Net Link, launched Oct. 31.

Sega has confirmed that Net Link will be available in computer specialty stores such as CompUSA and Fry's when it launches, in addition to Sega's core retailers, which include Best Buy, Incredible Universe, The Good Guys! and Wal-Mart.

"Net Link gets us into a broader line of retailers," said Ted Hoff, executive vice president of Sega of America, who added that Net Link is an "extension of the value of Sega beyond the console business."
