DALLAS -- Texas Instruments has introduced a cellular battery charger module that lets users charge their cellphones though their notebook computers, eliminating the need to carry an extra cellphone battery when traveling.
The charger module is part of the company's live-gear accessories lineup, and is designed to fit in the TravelMate 6000 series' modular bays.
The charger module supports batteries from Motorola, Ericsson and Nokia, and is available as an option with TI TravelMate 6000 series notebooks.
Suggested retail of the product, shipping this month, is $100.
