Thomson Consumer Electronics, the largest U.S. maker of televisions, says it will cut 1,520 jobs from two factories in Indiana and move the work to Juarez, Mexico, where labor is cheaper. Thomson, maker of RCA, GE and ProScan audio and video products, will end TV manufacturing and warehousing in Bloomington, Ind., and discontinue TV plastics components molding and finishing operations in Indianapolis.

The change is expected to be complete by April 1998.
