GE: Riedel runs Latin unit.(GE Appliances' Latin American operations; Steve Riedel)(Brief Article)

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Steve Riedel has been named to run GE Appliances' Latin American operations as vice president and general manager. As previously reported, he was succeeded as GEA's vice president of marketing and product management by Bruce Albertson.
The company said it has established a Latin American Pole and put Reidel in charge of all operations in North and South America outside the United States. That includes the joint venture involving Camco in Canada.
Riedel held the marketing job for nearly three years. Previously he worked for General Electric's Motors and Medical Systems divisions.
