Comfy Inc., a developer of computer learning aids for young children, has signed a distribution agreement with hardware and software distributor MicroCentral. The company is currently selling its Comfy Activity Center, which plugs into a computer's parallel port replacing the keyboard, and two CD-ROMs, for $79 suggested retail, through retailers FAO Schwarz, Toys 'R' Us and Noodle Kidoodle. It supports both PCs and Macintosh computers. Eight CD-ROMs are available separately for use with the ComfyKeyboard; retail pricing for the software ranges from $24 to $35 per title.

This month, Comfy is planning to release Pink Panther's House of Numbers developed with content obtained under a licensing agreement with MGM and United Artists.
